I recently visited here for an early morning breakfast, before a long day.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn't that great - the bacon in my breakfast meal was extremely overcooked and crispy, the plate was too small as to not accommodate the cooked food and toast on the same plate, causing me to drop some of my toast on the floor and the service was lacking enthusiasm.
The interior of the cafe is very tacky, somewhat unclean and in desperate need of a makeover!
I'm not sure I'd return in a hurry - perhaps if I was desperate, and found myself hungry at Central Station early in the morning, but likely not. -

I'm wondering if this is supposed to be a replica of some cafe at the Gare du Nord in Paris. I don't remember any cafe there with a similar name, but then again I wasn't really paying all that much attention since I was too busy trying to work out how to get onto the Eurostar. Anyway, this is a pretty tacky cafe with impressionist paintings that look so fake that it is nothing short of ghastly. Okay, the coffee wasn't bad, and the owner was really friendly, but it isn't a place I'm going to be hurrying back to any time soon (especially with those ghastly paintings).

The bread was mouldy. They tried to tell me only one slice was mouldy out of 6 sandwiches. Took half an hour to refund the money.
